Revolutionary Internationalist Movement Supporting Collective in Western Canada
We warmly welcome the formation of RCP Canada and send revolutionary greetings to participants of the Canadian Revolutionary Congress. This process represents a step forward for revolutionaries in Canada as well as the international proletariat. It is also a qualitative leap in the development of a countrywide party based on the scientific understanding of Marxism-Leninism- Maoism.
We also welcome your stated support for, and intentions to join with, the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement—a truly integral component of party-building in today’s world under the world system of capitalist-imperial ism. RIM is the most advanced formation of genuine communists worldwide and is a powerful ideological weapon in the revolutions to come, and will be a necessary component of the Canadian revolution.
Proposing revolution in Canada brings forth the complex question of waging revolutionary warfare—for the seizure of power and exercising of the dictatorship of the proletariat. There is a wealth of historical knowledge to aid and guide revolutionaries today, notably the revolutions in Russia and China which were able to consolidate countrywide power and develop socialism.
There is also the revolutionary experience gained through base areas in Nepal, as well as RIM participant parties and other Maoist parties waging people’s war in many regions. Revolutionaries in Canada also have important allies in the world’s most powerful imperialist country, the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA.
Revolutionary war is above all else a war of the masses. It is an extension of their consciousness and desire for a better world, and a part of transforming the consciousness of the masses for socialism. And it must unite millions of people in this country, nothing less.
Our collective supports the initiative of the CRC as an important step to deepening the understanding of how to make revolution in Canada. Through continuing the process to unite the genuine communists, of rebelling against the enemy who murders and exploits very well in both official languages, the future of communist revolution in Canada is hopeful for those who dare stand up and fight for it.
